The Challenge:
ZPMC's hot-dip galvanizing workshop faced critical equipment degradation in its acid mist treatment system:
1. The acid mist spray tower's water tank and exhaust elbow showed severe corrosion, perforation, and water leakage due to material aging, compromising sealing performance and structural integrity.
2. The associated acid storage tank had been in service for nearly 15 years, with advanced corrosion creating significant leakage and safety risks.
3. These issues threatened production safety, environmental compliance, and operational continuity under China's stringent emission regulations.
Our Solution:
Chaori delivered a comprehensive renewal and targeted overhaul of the galvanizing workshop's acid mist control system:
1. Full replacement of the corroded spray tower components, including water tank and exhaust ducting, using corrosion-resistant materials engineered for acidic environments;
